Alright, for some reason I don't seem to be able to connect to the IRC this moment... Will try again a bit later and otherwise I'll try again tomorrow. Anyways, since Duel asked me whether I had some more concept art that's not on the wiki, here ya go. lovetransfer.wikia.com/wiki/File:LT-germany-conceptsketch.pngUploaded some early quickie of the pervy Germany girl. I never uploaded it before because I didn't really like how it turned out. But hey, you asked for it. Any other concept art I have at the moment are more scribbles and not really suitable for uploading, so this will have to suffice. ------ EDIT: Even today the IRC seems down for me... Strange. I get the message "couldn't look up your hostname, CGI:IRC authentication failed" each time I try to connect. I doubt there's anything I can do about it, the problem most likely lies with the IRC server I connect to. So yeah, you'll gonna have to wait a bit before you see me again on IRC. In any case, until it is fixed, if there is anything urgent you wish to ask me, just send an email. EDIT 2: Just to tell you guys that I have tweaked Germany a little, she looks better now. As always, you can see the updated version on the wiki. Gonna try doing one of the backgrounds now and see if I can make anything decent out of it, but that's gonna take me a while. Also, the IRC seems to be working again for me, so you can expect me there.

So, here I am again. Since we seem to be back on track with the project right now, here's a little treat for you guys. www.mediafire.com/?fq1xa9g5x42ff5cIt's an archive that contains all of my artworks for the project up till now, and it will be updated each time I complete a major artwork. It's easier if all of the artworks are collected in one file, instead of being scattered around the wiki. Also handy because it contains the latest revisions of my already finished works, which the wiki sometimes fails to properly display (shows an earlier uploaded version, it seems to be a cache issue, after you click on the image to open it you should put "?action=purge" after the link to force it to show the correct version). Anyways, I have also tried my hand at some title art for the VN. Once again, if there are things you'd like to see differently just tell me, since it's only a first version after all. It is included in the archive as well, together with a corresponding icon for the .exe. Hope you guys like it. I'm really glad we got this project running again, after the entire month of going nowhere. Hope we can keep it up!

Just a little heads up from me as well, since it's been a while:
I'm currently working on a couple of new concepts for the characters again, a little more elaborate than the first rough sketches. So you can expect me to pop up on the IRC again one of these days. If they are finished and everyone's okay with them, I'll post an updated version of the archive here as well, so expect it in a few days.

Slowpoke.jpg, I know Anyways here you can find the new artwork archive: www.mediafire.com/?tzdurh7zrsusbz4New concepts for Aino, Tatyana, Sumiko, Kisima, and Hiro. And a test for a new icon, since it seems we're changing the setting to be more serious. Title art will be updated as well sometimes. Since I now have lots more time, new artwork will come up faster. You shouldn't have to wait an entire month again for a new version.

V1.2 is up: www.mediafire.com/?avtyhy1memkkpmpCharacter concepts are (more or less) nearing completion so I will get started on the colored sprites soon. About the new skin for the forums, here you finally have it! As for the little problem of the black icon in the adress bar looking ugly in darker themed browser skins, it can't be helped, really. Transfer suggested making it orange, but I honestly think that would only make it look much worse in lighter browsers. Aside from that I do hope it is more or less to your tastes. If not, suggestions are always welcome...

Hey there people! It has been a long time since you last heard anything from me, so time to bring some change into that.
First off, to ease your worries, I want to say that I haven’t given up on this project or anything yet. Of course, taking this whole project to a decent level will at least take many more months, possibly years depending on how far we want to go with it. That’s quite an investment for us who will have to work intensively on it, no matter how you look at it, and even moreso with the small team we currently have. I'm still curious to see if we can pull this off.
So, here I want to ask now, is El still in our project? And if not, would there be anyone else able to provide some decent support with the graphics, like he was supposed to do (side character sprites and the like)? I don't really recall any of that being actually handled already, but perhaps things have changed while I was away.
Also a little question for gypsies, are you positive that you can flesh out and come up with a full blown route for each of the 8 main girls in this single VN? I think it might be quite hard to give every girl the attention she deserves, because if we have to do with 8 girls their individual routes might end up too short, lest our VN becomes way too extensive to work on. Not saying we should start scrapping characters, but maybe we could start shifting focus here and there, instead of aiming to give every girl a full blown route and ending. An idea might be to narrow down the main romanceable girls to 6 and split the main game in three parts, with the first being where eventually the Fighter/Peacemaker/Coward route is decided upon. Then two main heroines (depending on your route, e.g. Addy and Tatyana for the Fighter one) support Hiro and take the spotlight in the middle part (joining Hiro as he works his ranks up in the Rebellion in the Fighter route for example), providing us with more of their backgrounds as well as a potential love interest. The third and most extensive part will then lock you on one of these girls's individual routes, depending on your choices, with the possibility for a good, bad or true ending on those. We could divide the parts like 25-25-50 in length, so you spend at least the latter (and most interesting) half of the game with the girl you've ended up with. Just a possibility here, feel free to give your opinions. In any case, keep up the good work though. You're doing great.
So anyways, some food for thought I guess. I’m still busy here atm (taking semester exams), but you can expect me back available for discussion and artwork somewhere at the end of January. Time enough to think about all this a bit, I guess.

Haven't heard from El or Transfer in a while, but it's likely they're in the same situation as you are. I'll email them.
As Chapter 1 is pretty close to being finished I've begun the process of organizing things a bit more. Thinking ahead, yeah, 8/9 heroines is a lot so I've narrowed them down to six. That's two per path.
I'm focusing on the outline a bit more extensively and I like the "25-25-50" thing, so I'm keeping that in mind while working. Duel and I discussed the pacing and the meat of the story will be happening right around the time the routes split up completely.
Chapters 2 and 3 will be the deciding factor to lock you onto a path. From there are two heroines to choose from, and you will be locked onto either of their routes roughly halfway through the novel.
That said, break a leg. Make those exams your bitch.

Sounds good.
Yeah, I guess I'm not the only one in a similar situation. A project like this sounds awesome to work on when you've got lots of free time, but then you've got to go to uni/work/whatever again and it gets kinda pushed into the background.
And don't worry about those exams, the first one went quite well at least, hah.
